Bart Ehrman of the University of North Carolina and Peter J Williams of Tyndale House, Cambridge recently appeared on the radio programme "Unbelievable?" hosted by Justin Brierly on Premier Christian radio.

Authors like Ehrman or Crossan thrive because seminarians and pastors are afraid to share with the laity the tough stuff they got to know in school. They think people are dumb, weak and wont be able to digest anything controversial. It's that simple: if you don't talk with your kids about sex, they will learn about it from porn.
